Astral upgrades Montreal Metro ad displays

Out-of-home media company Astral has begun an upgrade initiative in Montreal Metro stations. The program is being conducted in collaboration with Transgesco, the commercial subsidiary of the Société de transport de Montréal. New digital advertising displays will be installed at the Berri-UQAM, McGill and Lionel-Groulx Metro stations. The 14 projectors currently installed in those stations will be replaced with nine high-definition LED screens intended to provide greater impact to advertisers. Large format static banners will also be installed in those three stations. Astral is a subsidiary of Bell Media.

"This major revitalization project for the Berri-UQAM, McGill and Lionel-Groulx Metro stations allows Astral and the STM to offer unique, cutting-edge options for advertisers," said Karine Moses, president of Astral. "We're confident that the quality and novelty of the new product offering will greatly enhance the passenger experience in the Montreal Metro."
