Pinty's extends Grand Slam of Curling sponsorship

Food company Pinty's has signed a five-year extension to its sponsorship agreement with specialty television channel Sportsnet to remain the exclusive title sponsor of the Grand Slam of Curling. The new deal will run through the end of the 2022-23 curling season.  It includes in-venue branding and promotions, as well as broadcast commercials and additional exposure on Sportsnet television, radio and digital properties. The agreement also includes a new points-based competition for curling teams called the Pinty's Cup. Sportsnet is a division of Rogers Media. Pinty's has been a sponsor of the tournament since 2014.

"The Pinty's Grand Slam of Curling and Pinty's focus on making great food fun are a natural fit," said Anthony Spiteri, vice-president of marketing at Pinty's. "In Canada, we are blessed to have many options to promote our products to our target audiences. The relevance, authenticity, growth and history of curling in Canada is perfectly fit for Pinty's and our audience."
