Weston to sponsor NASCAR racer

Weston Bakeries of Toronto has signed a sponsorship agreement with race car driver Larry Jackson. The company will wrap Jackson's Dodge Challenger in a Wonder Bread-branded wrap when it races in the NASCAR Pinty's Series for the duration of the season. This will include events at the Toronto Indy on July 15, Trois Rivières on Aug. 13 and the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park in Bowmanville, ON on Sept. 3.
"Wonder Bread is a pop culture staple and has been associated with one of the top race car drivers in history," said Andrea Hunt, vice-president of marketing at Weston Bakeries. "When the opportunity came up to reintroduce this iconic piece of racing folklore into the circuit, we couldn't resist."
