Institute of Communication Agencies rebrands
The Toronto-based Institute of Communication Agencies has undertaken a rebranding initiative. According the the organization, the new branding is intended to better reflect the "energy" of the ICA. The updated brand materials include a new logo and the tagline, "Amplify, Protect and Transform." The new branding will roll out through the summer, followed by the launch of a redesigned website in September. The organization developed this rebranding effort in collaboration with Field Trip of Toronto.
"Our vision and ambition are now clear and it was exciting to imagine this in a moving brand identity," said Gardenia Flores, head of branding at the institute. "All too often trade bodies play it safe with their branding. The ICA is as passionate about our industry as our member agencies are themselves. The brand had to reflect this."
