Under Armour readies Sport Chek promotion

Athletic apparel company Under Armour has selected two youth athletes to participate in an upcoming promotion. Eleven-year-old Brenden McLeod of Newmarket and eleven-year-old Maya Rajhans of Etobicoke will appear in a brand campaign that will run at Sport Chek stores nationally. The two were chosen in a contest to become part of the brand's "Team UA Next, Powered by Sport Chek" initiative.
"We are excited to have Brenden and Maya join our elite roster of Under Armour athletes, serving as our first Canadian youth ambassadors," said Shana Ferguson, director of marketing at Under Armour Canada. "These hard-working young athletes have demonstrated their will and proven they have what it takes to represent Under Armour. We look forward to outfitting Brenden and Maya in our best-in-class product to help them perform even better on field, on ice, and on court."
