Under Armour resumes Storm The Centre contest

Athletic apparel company Under Armour Canada has resumed a competition promotion called "Storm The Centre" aimed at young hockey players. This will be the fourth year the company has conducted this promotion. During the initiative, bantam hockey teams in Toronto, Edmonton and Montreal can compete to win a day training and playing at the arenas used by the Leafs, Oilers and Canadiens respectively. To win, teams will need to compete in on-ice, online and social media components over seven weeks.

"It takes more than skill to make it to the big leagues," said Jon Irwin, senior director of commercial strategy at Under Armour Canada. "It takes heart, will and determination. The top two teams will win a spot in the Armour Cup, where they will 'Be the Leafs' for a day. This will be a full day of training and professional treatment capped off with a regulation game at Air Canada Centre."
