Canadian Tire promotes paint line

Canadian Tire conducted a promotion in Toronto on April 26 in support of its Premier line of paint products. The effort took the form of a 35,000 square-foot installation intended to resemble a collection of paint swatches. The 185 coloured rectangles were arranged in a grid in a Canadian Tire parking lot. A group of media representatives and other "influencers" were taken on a flight in a branded helicopter to view the display. They also received consultation with designers Colin McAllister and Justin Ryan and a room-sized sample of paint. The company has also released an online video depicting the event. The promotion was developed by Weber Shandwick.
