Lay's Canada begins summer campaign

Potato chip brand Lay's Canada has begun a summer-themed campaign promoting its ketchup, barbecue and salt and vinegar flavours. The six-week digital campaign includes a website at <http://www.layssummerclassics.ca> that offers a personality quiz, a game, a calendar of summer events and a contest component called the "Lay's Classic Challenge." The winner of the contest will receive $10,000. The effort also makes use of digital advertising, a sponsored playlist on music streaming service 8tracks, and music-themed sponsorship activities with Spotify and Shazam. The campaign will run until August 8. The campaign was developed by Citizen Relations with digital support from Majestic Media and media work by OMD. Lay's is a division of PepsiCo.
