SPCA, Humane Society conduct No Hot Pets campaign

Approximately 75 SPCAs, Humane Societies and animal rescue groups in Canada are conducting a campaign intended to raise awareness of the dangers of leaving unattended pets in vehicles during summer. The campaign, called "No Hot Pets," was developed by Brandfire Marketing of Toronto. It consists of radio and television commercials, accompanied by social media activities and a website at <http://www.nohotpets.ca>. The initiative will run until August 31.

"The creative is designed to get to the heart of this issue by cutting through the words we tell ourselves to justify what is an extremely dangerous act, leaving your pet unattended in a hot car," said Rob Levy, president of Brandfire.
