MasterCard launches Priceless Toronto Zone

MasterCard Canada, in association with Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment, has opened an interactive installations called the "Priceless Toronto Zone" at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto. According to the company, this is the first time an installation of this kind has been placed in Canada. It consists of two large flex screens, an eight-panel video wall and a 65-inch touchscreen located outside Gate One of the arena. The zone is tied to MasterCard's sponsor of the Toronto Maple Leafs, Toronto Raptors and Toronto FC sports teams. It will display behind-the-scenes video and sports memorabilia. Consumers can also use the installation to browse and buy a number of limited-edition bobblehead figurines. The proceeds from these sales will be donated to the MLSE Foundation, which works to provide sports and recreation facilities to youth.

"As sports fans, we know how exciting it is to watch your favourite team in action and we believe enhancing that experience is what makes for a memorable time," said Milos Vranesevic, head of marketing at MasterCard Canada. "With MLSE, we've launched the MasterCard Priceless Toronto Zone to give fans the ability to interact with content and even use their mobile phone to purchase exclusive keepsakes. We think that's a priceless score for fans."
