MasterCard continues Priceless Surprises campaign

Credit card company MasterCard Canada has released an online video detailing a recent promotional stunt conducted by the company as part of its ongoing "Priceless Surprises" campaign. The video depicts 10 customers at a barber shop in Toronto being offered a free T-shirt if they paid for their haircuts with a BMO MasterCard. The consumers were then surprised by professional basketball player Kyle Lowry, who presented them with tickets to attend a Toronto Raptors game at the MasterCard World Elite Suite at the Air Canada Centre, followed by an after-party. This is the fifth time the company has conducted such an event since the campaign began in Canada in 2014.

"We've focused our efforts on sports because our cardholders are passionate fans," said Milos Vranesevic, head of marketing at MasterCard Canada. "They want the connection to their favourite players, teams and priceless experiences. What excites us is our ability to make it extra special for our cardholders, from helping them propose on the big screen, to securing a table at Real Sports for the biggest game of the year. When we see their face light up, that's a true priceless moment for us."
