INTERNET SHOW COMING TO TORONTO

Westport, Connecticut-based Mecklermedia Corporation will host the third annual Internet World Canada '97 event, running from January 7-10 in Toronto. The show will be co-sponsored by Computing Canada, Commercial Internet Exchange and Mecklermedia's Internet World magazine. Exhibitors include: Microsoft Canada, Digital Equipment Corporation, IBM Canada, iSTAR internet inc., Netcom Canada, Internet Canada, TotalNet, Corel Corporation, Canada Newswire and Luckman Interactive. Systems, products and services will be exhibited by more than 200 Internet-supportive vendors. This year's show will also introduce the first ever Canada Impact Awards, sponsored by Internet World. The awards will be given out to companies which produce Web sites that change people's lives in six categories including "The Way People Work" and "The Way People Communicate."
