McKenzie to depart Canadian Tourism Commission

Michele McKenzie, president of the Canadian Tourism Commission, will depart the organization at the end of the year. She has held the position for 10 years. Prior to that, she spent four years as deputy minister of Nova Scotia Tourism Culture and Heritage. She was also executive director of marketing at Nova Scotia Tourism Culture and Heritage. A replacement has yet to be named. The process of finding a new permanent president and chief executive officer will be carried out by the Government of Canada in collaboration with the board of directors of the commission.
