Scotiabank breaks Stanley Cup campaign

Scotiabank has begun a new television campaign tied to the ongoing Stanley Cup hockey championship. The first commercial in the campaign aired on June 4 during the second game of the series. The second ran yesterday during the third game. Additional creative will be released as the series continues. The first commercial depicts an ice surface displaying the copy, "It's been 18 years since a Canadian team hoisted the Stanley Cup. It's not just the Stanley Cup, it's a rescue mission." The campaign is part of a larger effort by the bank to depict itself as "Canada's Hockey Bank." The campaign was developed by Bensimon Byrne.
