Kraft resumes Caramilk Key to the Secret Contest

Kraft Foods has resumed its "Caramilk Key to the Secret Contest" promotion for its Caramilk chocolate bar brand. Ten keys have been hidden in random Caramilk bars nationally. The consumers who find them will win a trip to the Cadbury Gladstone Chocolate Factory in Toronto in the fall, where each one will attempt to unlock a vault containing a sealed package within which will be the secret of manufacturing a Cadbury bar. The person with the winning key will take charge of the package for six months and will receive $125,000 immediately, as well as another $125,000 if they return the packaged unopened at the end of that time. The other nine contenders will receive Caramilk bars for 25 years. "Last year was the first time we've ever let the secret leave the Caramilk Vault," said John Phillipson, vice-president of confectionery at Kraft Canada. "We were understandably nervous, but Lisa [Landry, previous winner] came through for us, and she's been rewarded with $250,000 for her efforts. And now we're offering another Canadian the chance to keep Canada proud."
