Celebrate & Explore Vancouver contest begins

Canadian Pacific, Port Metro Vancouver and the City of Vancouver have begun a contest promotion called "Celebrate & Explore Vancouver" to mark the 125th anniversary of the city. The online contest, located at <http://www.celebratevancouver125.ca>, will award 125 winners four tickets each for a half-day trip in July from Waterfront Station to Port Moody by steam train, then through Burrard Inlet by harbour vessel to Vancouver. The contest will run until June 19. "Canadian Pacific and Port Metro Vancouver are two organizations that have played pivotal roles in shaping our city as it is today," said Mayor Gregor Robertson. "This partnership for our 125th birthday provides a fantastic opportunity to celebrate and explore Vancouver's beauty through a historic and meaningful perspective."
