HP Canada begins Officejet Challenge

HP Canada has begun an online contest called the "HP Officejet Challenge" aimed at small businesses. During the eight-week initiative, six companies will work to complete a series of office-based challenges using an HP Officejet Pro 8500A Plus E-All-in-One printer and blogging about their experiences. The winner, as determined by a three-person panel of small business experts, will receive a prize package of HP products worth $2,600. HP is conducting the promotion in association with Sprouter, an online community that seeks to provide support to entrepreneurs. The contest is being promoted through a weekly electronic newsletter, Facebook page and Twitter account. "The HP Officejet Challenge is not only a contest, it's an engaging online resource for small businesses looking for ways to use technology to make their offices more efficient," said Deb Adamson, SMB segment manager in the imaging and printing group at HP Canada. "It takes a lot of financial resources to maintain office IT, and printing technology is a great place to save on costs and boost productivity. By reading about the experiences of small businesses participating in the Officejet Challenge, other small businesses will realize the potential they can unlock in their own office environments."
