.Calgary-based CF Canada Ltd. has made Robert D. McArthur vice president of sales, marketing and service network for Canadian Freightways, CF Parcel Express and UTL Transportation Services. McArthur joined Freightways in 1977 and has held various positions within various CF companies' sales and marketing operations. .Joel Sehr has been appointed vice president of sales and marketing at Micro Tempus Inc. of Montreal. Previously Sehr has held the positions of assistant vice president at Computer Associates, account executive at Tivoli and contracts/pricing manager at Unysis. Sehr will now bend his mind to the task of "aggressively marketing" Micro Tempus' new Tempus Connectivity Solutions product line. Vaughn Whelan has been appointed executive vice president, national creative director, at BCP Toronto. He will officially join BCP in late September but is already working on specific projects for the agency. Vaughn Whelan & Partners Advertising Inc., also of Toronto, will be absorbed into BCP over time. The 36 year-old Whelan has operated his own company for the last four years, working for clients such as Labatt, Leon's and Radio Shack. He has won every major Canadian advertising award as well as numerous international honours.
