Labatt Breweries installs Studio Bud Musique in Montreal subway
By Adnews Staff
Labatt Breweries has begun an out-of-home promotion for Budweiser in Montreal. The brewery has placed an installation called the Studio Bud Musique in the Jean-Drapeau subway station. The installation takes the form of an interactive floor surface eight feet square, combined with sound and projected images. Passers-by can use the surface to play a musical game in which four players take on the role of drummer, bass player, lead guitarist and rhythm guitarist. Promotional workers will encourage the players whenever the installation is active. "We wanted to provide a never-before-seen experience to Budweiser drinkers in Quebec by blending music, projection and video game to create a highly interactive environment," said Stéphanie Trudeau, public affairs vice-president at Labatt. "The Studio Bud Musique delivers all that, putting the players right at the heart of the action." The promotion was developed by Brad. The installation was designed by Space & Dream. Media placement is being handled by Métromédia Plus.
