Dairy Farmers of Canada conducts grilled cheese sandwich contest

Dairy Farmers of Canada has begun an online contest called the "All You Need Is Cheese Challenge." The contest encourages consumers to submit recipes for grilled cheese sandwiches, either at <http://www.allyouneedischeese.ca> or through the contest's Facebook page. Three finalists will be selected by public voting and their recipes prepared at an event called "The Grate Canadian Grilled Cheese Cook-Off" at the Canadian National Exhibition in Toronto on Aug. 24. The winner, as chosen by a celebrity judging panel, will receive a family trip to Quebec City. "If you think you know the perfect combination of grilled cheese ingredients, then enter your spin," said Solange Heiss, assistant director of marketing and nutrition communications for the organization. "Our judges will choose the winning recipe based on how it is prepared, originality and taste appeal. Your recipe could become Canada's number one grilled cheese sandwich."
