New general manager at Fleishman-Hillard Toronto

Fleishman-Hillard has appointed Bill Walker to the position of general manager of its Toronto office. He joined the agency in 2009 as senior vice-president and partner, overseeing the firm's national crisis communications practice. He will continue to hold this position. Prior to joining the agency, Walker spent 20 years at the Toronto Star in positions including bureau chief at Queen's Park, Parliament Hill and Washington, DC.
