Toronto-based Olive Media has signed an online advertising sales representation agreement with online publication The Huffington Post, located at <http://www.huffingtonpost.com>. The US-based site specializes in political news and opinion blogging. Olive Media will represent the site's direct ad sales efforts in Canada. This is the first time the site has engaged a representative for the Canadian market. "Canada is a natural market for The Huffington Post," said Greg Coleman, president and chief revenue officer of company. "Canadian marketers will find a valuable audience, one which is affluent, engaged and passionate about news. We plan on offering marketers in Canada a unique way of reaching consumers, one built as much around engagement as smart content."
