Landmark Cinemas readies loyalty program

Calgary-based theatre chain Landmark Cinemas will launch a new loyalty program called “Landmark Extras” in September. The program will offer three membership tiers that will allow consumers to collect and redeem loyalty points for movie tickets and concession purchases. Some tiers will also offer extra services to program members.
“Landmark Extras rewards movie lovers with more of what they love, free movies, concession items and more,” said Bill Walker, CEO of Landmark Cinemas. “It provides moviegoers with unprecedented choice, including our Movie Club subscription membership, that enables movie lovers to enjoy the theatrical movie-going experience more often with the extra benefit of earning and redeeming points for their movie-going purchases.”
