LONDON DRUGS SWITCHES TO BRYANT, FULTON & SHEE
By Adnews Staff
London Drugs of Richmond, B.C. handed its account this week to Bryant, Fulton & Shee of Vancouver. The business had been with Young & Rubicam's Vancouver office since 1993, but that agency's Toronto office won the Radio Shack account last month, creating a conflict of interest. London Drugs is a mass merchandiser with its main focus on pharmacy services, but it also sells a wide range of home electronic products. Radio Shack also sells home electronic products. Bryant, Fulton & Shee was given the business without a review. It had participated in the 1993 review when Y&R won the business. "They have great depth of knowledge and experience among their staff, understand the results-driven focus of our retail business and offer excellent creative product in all disciplines," London senior vice-president Wynne Powell says of Bryant, Fulton & Shee in a release. London Drugs spent just over $3 million on advertising last year, according to ACNielsen of Markham, Ont. The company operates 44 stores in B.C. and Alberta.
