
London Drugs breaks holiday campaign

Retail chain London Drugs has begun a campaign called “We’re made for the holidays.” Developed by Will of Vancouver, the campaign presents the chain as a location for holiday gift shopping the creative depicts a group of consumers searching for gifts for a variety of recipients. The seven-week campaign is running in western Canada. It includes television, radio and digital advertising, as well as social media content.
“People tend to associate holiday shopping with a stressful experience,” says Lisa Lebedovich, executive creative director at Will. “Shopping in malls and big box stores can make the whole thing feel like an overwhelming chore. Which is what makes shopping at London Drugs different from the rest. They give their shoppers the confidence to find the perfect gift and have a little fun while they do it. Which is exactly what we wanted to show in this new campaign.”
