Rouge Media Group formed in Montreal

Three Montreal-based out-of-home media companies sharing a common ownership, Redcat Media, Chapter 66 and Rouge Campus, have adopted the umbrella name Rouge Media Group. According to company president Martin Poitras, the group name is intended to simplify the communications of the three business units with Canadian ad agencies. Each unit will, however, maintain it own identity. Redcat Media specializes in marketing programs conducted in high schools. Rouge Campus operates advertising displays in approximately 60 Canadian universities and colleges. Chapter 66 offers display advertising in various night clubs. "The primary objective of the three companies is to provide a dominant media-marketing offer," said Poitras. "With the multiplication of non-traditional media, we did not want to just join the rest of the pack. Before launching each of these companies, we ensured that our media would undoubtedly have the greatest impact."
