Rouge Media Group expands into online advertising

Rouge Media Group of Montreal has introduced two online advertising services called Rouge Campus Connected and Rouge Resto-Bar Connected. The campus service is aimed at students between the ages of 18 and 24 and offers advertising on approximately 80 university and college websites. The second service offers advertising on the websites of approximately 300 restaurants, bars and other nightlife venues. These ads are primarily aimed at 18- to 34-year-olds. "Going online was the next logical step in developing our networks within the campus and resto-bar environments," said Jef Combdon, vice-president of sales and marketing at Rouge. "Online is the perfect channel to complete our media mix targeting 18-to-34s, unmatched by any other media supplier in the marketplace."
