Bell Canada breaks holiday campaign

Bell Canada has begun a national holiday season marketing campaign called "Share the Joy." The campaign, which will feature the company's beaver spokescharacters Frank and Gordon, will promote a range of Bell products and services, including cell phones, digital television and Internet access. The campaign will include television, print, radio, outdoor and online advertising. "The fourth quarter of the year, and particularly the holiday period, is the most competitive time in what is already an intensely competitive telecommunications marketplace," said Rick Seifeddine, senior vice-president of brand strategy. "Bell is ready to step to the forefront this season with a Share the Joy campaign highlighting an incredible array of new products and services from across Bell's business lines." The campaign was developed by Cossette Communication Group.
