TSN, L'Oreal hold Men Expert Faceoff

Specialty channel TSN and Montreal-based cosmetics company L'Oréal Paris have begun a joint contest promotion called the "Men Expert Faceoff." The winner of the contest will appear as a panelist on the channel's daily sports debate program Off The Record. The initiative will run until Oct. 7. Each Monday during the contest, viewers will be invited to submit their opinions on a given topic through a website at <http://www.tsn.ca/faceoff>. A judging panel will select one winner from each week. The four finalists will be flown to Toronto to participate in a final debate on the set of the show. This debate will be posted to the website in November, where visitors will vote for the overall winner. The contest is being promoted with 30-second television commercials on TSN and NHL Network, banners on TSN.ca, email ads and public relations.
