Evian television commercial released in Quebec

Danone Group released a television commercial for Evian water in Quebec yesterday. This is the first time the brand has been promoted on television in Canada. The commercial, called "Fill with Care," was created by Ogilvy & Mather of Japan. The ad will run for six weeks as a pilot program aimed at the Francophone Quebec market. The ad shows various women going about their daily lives, each depicted as semi-transparent to illustrate that human bodies are mostly made of water. "The human body is nearly 70 percent water, and through a natural cycle, renews itself approximately every seven weeks," said Minoru Kawasaki, creative director at Ogilvy & Mather Japan. "We felt compelled to show the importance of water in our daily lives and why it is in all of our best interests to replenish it naturally with a pure source." The overall "Fill with Care" campaign also includes North American print and outdoor advertising developed by Sharpe Blackmore Euro RSCG of Toronto. Those ads began running in June.
