Danone begins Evian purity challenge

Danone Group has begun a new promotion in support of its Evian brand of bottled water caller the “30 Days to Purity Challenge.” The initiative is intended to encourage Canadians to take the arrival of spring as a cue to begin living a more active lifestyle. During the promotion, customers who buy seven bottles of water can send in for a free Evian Affinity beauty pack. Consumers can also enter a draw at <http://www.evianpurity.ca> for a trip for two to the Evian Royal Resort in Evian-les-Bains, France. “As a company that understands the importance of better living, we wanted to provide the platform and incentive to encourage people to get rid of their old habits, and begin to start living a healthy and more active lifestyle,” said Michael Thouin, brand manager for Evian. The promotion is being supported with in-store materials, Internet advertising and public relations. The campaign was created by Marketing Drive Worldwide with PR support from Maverick Public Relations.
