Ford breaks new commercial for Edge

Ford of Canada released a new hockey-themed television commercial over the weekend promoting three of its vehicles: the Edge sport utility vehicle, the Fusion sedan and the F-350 pickup. The 30-second ad describes the new Edge as the company’s “next game changer.” The commercial consists of images of the vehicles interspersed with home movies of Wayne Gretzky playing hockey as a child. The ad will run through the NHL playoffs. Advertising for Ford is handled by Young & Rubicam of Toronto.
