Reckitt Benckiser hires Maverick Public Relations

Reckitt Benckiser has retained Maverick Public Relations of Toronto as the Canadian PR agency for its personal care line of products. The agency will represent brands including Durex, Veet and Clearasil. Maverick won the assignment in a competitive process involving an unknown number of firms. "Maverick demonstrated strong thinking and an exceptional knowledge of today's consumer media landscape as it relates to the personal care market in Canada," said Thorsk Westphal, senior brand manager for personal care at Reckitt Benckiser Canada. "The team demonstrated very compelling creative and incredible cohesion, proving our brand will be in good hands."
