Pizza Nova readies film festival sampling program

Toronto-based fast food chain Pizza Nova has signed-on as the official pizza sponsor of the Toronto International Film Festival, which will take place from Sept. 6 to 15. During, the festival, promotional workers in branded trucks and scooters will distribute slices of pizza to festival attendees waiting in line at three film venues. Gift cards will also be distributed which can be redeemed at Pizza Nova locations. The initiative also includes a four-week marketing campaign of outdoor advertising, in-store materials and online promotions. "We can't think of a better way of getting up close and personal with our customers than by giving them a taste of our product while they line up to see a film," said Domenic Primucci, executive vice-president of Pizza Nova.
