Pizza Nova begins new campaign

Toronto-based Pizza Nova has begun an advertising campaign called, "Nuthin' But Nova." consisting of outdoor, radio and print ads, as well as a sampling program. The creative includes copy intended to resemble text messages such as, "My zucchini's better than your zucchini," "I love it in the morning" and "I want onions...but only if you want onions." In addition, promotional workers in a branded vehicle are distributing slices of pizza at street corners in various Ontario cities. "The economic climate that is upon us has brought everyone's lowest ticket item to the forefront, and it's refreshing to feature communication that is devoid of a price tag," said Stephanie Angelone, marketing director at Pizza Nova. "With this campaign we're looking to communicate the Pizza Nova brand personality in a unique and memorable way, that simultaneously brings a smile." Pizza Nova operates 120 locations in southern Ontario.
