Globe and Mail holds red carpet contest

The Globe and Mail has begun a contest promotion as part of its sponsorship of the Toronto International Film Festival. The winner of the promotion, called "The Globe and Mail Red Carpet," will receive a trip to the festival including attendance of the awards ceremony and closing night party. To enter, readers must submit the answer to a daily trivia question from the newspaper through the contest website at <http://www.globeandmail.com/redcarpet>. The contest is being supported by advertising in the paper and online, as well as through street-level marketing activities.
