Evian launches new North American campaign

Bottled water company Evian has begun a new North American advertising campaign, developed by Sharpe Blackmore Euro RSCG of Toronto. The agency has handled Evian’s Canadian advertising for the past four years, but this is the first time its work has appeared in the US. The print and out-of-home campaign consists of images of models sitting in the French Alps. The creative uses the headline, “The most important body of water is your own. Fill with care.” In the US, the campaign will consist of taxi, transit and billboard advertising in New York, Los Angeles and Miami. In Canada, out-of-home ads will run in Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver, while print ads will run in Toronto Life, Vancouver Magazine, Food and Drink, Flow, Flare, Canadian House and Home and other publications. “We wanted to stay true to the brand and keep the ads pure too,” said Ron Tite, creative director of Sharpe Blackmore. “We didn’t do it with stock. We didn’t shoot it in the Rockies. We felt it was important to go to France and do it right.”
