Metro promotes McDonald to group publisher

Commuter newspaper publisher Metro has appointed Bill McDonald to the position of group publisher for Metro English Canada. He joined the company in 2006 as publisher of Metro Toronto, a position he will retain. McDonald will lead Metro operations in English Canada, working with the publishers in Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary and Ottawa.
