Satellite radio company Sirius Canada has signed an agreement with Canadian Tire making it the official presenting sponsor of the 2007 NASCAR Canadian Tire Series, which began on May 26. The agreement gives Sirius exclusive trademark and marketing rights to the auto racing series, including television, print, in-store and online advertising. “As NASCAR’s official satellite radio partner with a channel dedicated to NASCAR programming, Sirius is the perfect partner for the Canadian Tire Series,” said Chris Brockbank, vice-president of marketing at Sirius Canada. “This sponsorship is a great opportunity for Sirius to connect with racing fans throughout Canada and showcase our broad range of unique and exclusive programming.”
