Video website Heavy.com has opened a Canadian division called Heavy Canada and formed a one-year association with Mediaedge:cia to attract Canadian advertisers. The first of these clients is Molson, which has set-up a channel on the site called “Knob Hockey.” The channel, located at <http://www.heavy.com/knobhockey>, consists of video clips depicting various NHL players as stick figures from a tabletop hockey toy. “Working with Heavy adds a new element to the services we offer our clients,” said Bruce Neve, managing director of Mediaedge:cia. “This partnership allows our clients access to their consumers in a new, exciting and relevant way. Molson is the first out of the gate with the Knob Hockey channel that will definitely get people buzzing.”
