Canada Post has signed a six-year agreement with the Canadian Freestyle Ski Association to become the title sponsor of Canada's freestyle skiing team. The team, which consists of 45 athletes specializing in moguls and aerials, will now be called the Canada Post Freestyle Team. The team will now use a newly-developed logo consisting of a stylized set of skis depicted in Canada Post’s colours. The agreement includes $1 million in annual support for six years for training and competition expenses. Canada Post will also be the title sponsor of a series of events to be called The Canada Post Freestyle Frenzy. These events will include two World Cup competitions, two North American competitions and two Canadian series events. “This new agreement gives Canada Post a unique association with excellence and tremendous visibility in Canada and around the world,” said Robert Waite, senior vice-president of communications and stakeholder relations at Canada Post.
