Corus Entertainment of Toronto, in association with Vancouver-based Hip Digital Media, will launch a digital music download service later this month. The service will feature integrated advertising campaigns tied to free music downloads. The company will roll out a series of storefronts for the service branded to match its television and radio properties. The first of these, which will carry the branding of television specialty channel CMT Canada, will debut in December. “Introducing music downloads into the campaign mix is a win-win for both our clients and our audiences,” said John Cassaday, president and CEO of Corus Entertainment. “This is another great example of Corus Entertainment’s commitment to delivering unique solutions to our clients, while creating engaging content for our audiences on a variety of platforms.”
