Telelatino to launch new Spanish-language channel
By Adnews Staff
Toronto-based Telelatino Network will introduce a new Spanish-language television channel next month called TLN. The channel will carry telenovelas, talk shows, variety programs, music specials, news, children’s programming and sports. “TLN is a channel entirely devoted to Hispanic Canadians,” said Aldo Di Felice, president of TLN, “This allows Telelatino to supplement our partially Hispanic main service with a pure 24-hour Hispanic programming service. The Hispanic Canadian community has repeatedly expressed an interest in having a channel of their own with a combination of local and international content. Now, together with our distribution partners, we are able to meet that demand.”
