Traffic makes advertising deal with Ivanhoe Cambridge

Toronto-based out-of-home media company Traffic has signed an agreement with real estate company Ivanhoe Cambridge of Montreal to install outdoor advertising displays on the properties of 11 shopping malls in Ontario and British Columbia. “This new contract takes on strategic significance for us since it will allow us to increase our presence and standing in Ontario as well as in British Columbia,” said Traffic vice-president Ronald Tapiero. “These two markets have sustained tremendous growth and continue to do so. Shopping malls are catalysts for new trends, new fashions and new products, and remain one-of-a-kind consumer attractions. This new partnership will help us consolidate our position in the Canadian out-of-home advertising industry.” No financial details of the agreement are available.
