Charity releases human trafficking publication

Charitable organization the Canadian Centre to End Human Trafficking has released a publication called “It’s Time to T.A.L.K.” The downloadable document is intended to be a guide for conversations about the subject of sex trafficking, particularly with young people. The release is timed to coincide with National Human Trafficking Awareness Day on Feb. 22. It is available at <https://www.canadianhumantraffickinghotline.ca>.

“Sex trafficking is a complex and serious social issue that is not going away on its own,” said Julia Drydyk, executive director of the organization. “We understand the topic may seem overwhelming, but the reality is that we all need to start talking about it if we ever hope to end sex trafficking in Canada. That’s where we believe this resource can make a tangible difference.”
