WHITEHALL CHANGES LINE UP

Whitehall-Robins Healthcare shifted its agencies in the U.S. last week but the move doesn't affect Canada, Canadian president Malcolm Seath told Adnews yesterday. Young & Rubicam and Anderson Advertising, both of Toronto, will continue to handle Canadian advertising. In the U.S., McCann-Erickson of New York and Whitehall-Robins mutually agreed to part ways. The agency had handled Dristan decongestant and Preparation H hemorrhoid products since 1989. Grey Advertising, which already creates ads for Anacin pain reliever and Chap Stick lip care products, was given the Preparation H brand. Lowe & Partners/SMS of New York was assigned the Dristan business. Lowe already has Robitusson and other brands. As well, Lowe was given the Clear Blue Easy and Clear Plan Easy pregnancy and ovulation tests, which were with Young & Rubicam of New York for seven years. Whitehall-Robins is a division of American Home Products.
