BELL HEAD SPEAKS AGAIN

Bell Canada president John McLennan returned to television last week to tell customers about the possibilities of today's communication technology. In the ad McLennan says, " Our ability to communicate holds us together, and our future will depend on learning new ways to communicate with each other and the world." McLennan made his TV debut last December when Bell launched a campaign featuring customers that returned to the company from other long distance service providers. This spot sets the tone for a series of TV ads to be launched later this month. The tagline for these commercials is "Bell - The future is yours to choose." They use images of connections including railway tracks and telephone lines. These spots will highlight various technologies, and their potential impact on customers' lives. The campaign is being handled by Toronto-based Leo Burnett Company.
