WCB CHOOSES COSSETTE
By Adnews Staff
Cossette Communication-Marketing's Vancouver office walked away with the Workers Compensation Board of B.C. account this week. Cossette will advertise safety awareness and prevention techniques. The other finalists were Wasserman & Partners, Palmer Jarvis Advertising, Bryant, Fulton & Shee, MacLaren: McCann and Grey Advertising, all in Vancouver. The account had been with J. Walter Thompson's Vancouver office for about six years. It moved to Wasserman when JWT closed the west coast office in the spring of this year. The JWT account director for the WCB, Noreen Kimberley, took the business with her when she moved to Wasserman. Although no ad budget was given, the board told agencies to work with $1 million for the presentation.
