SEGA HAS NEW GAMES

Sega Enterprises of Japan is introducing two new video games to the North American market at the end of October, called Vector Man and Prime Time NFL Football. Both games are for the Sega Genesis video game system. A TV, print and point-of-purchase campaign for Vector Man will begin when the product hits the market. It will also have a web site. A TV campaign will be launched for the football game. It may also use print, but this hasn't been confirmed. Both campaigns were created by Goodby, Silverstein & Partners of San Francisco. Media Experts of Montreal bought the media in Canada. In November, Sega is relaunching its North American campaign for its 64-bit video game system called Saturn. It will use TV, point-of-purchase and print created by Goodby. The CD machine has better quality sound and graphics than a 16 or 32-bit machine. It can also be hooked up with multimedia devices such as video, photo and audio CD and digital karaoke. Last week Sega began giving away a game called Virtua Fighter Remix to customers in Canada and the U.S. who register their Saturn system. In Canada the giveaway is being promoted with public relations from Temple Scott Associates of Toronto.
