Temple Scott Associates hires two

Temple Scott Associates has appointed Michael Ras to the position of vice-president. He will lead the agency's public affairs and government relations practice in Toronto. He has previously worked in the public affairs practice at Hill & Knowlton. Scott Thurlow has joined the agency's Ottawa office as senior counsel. He specializes in federal and provincial regulatory policies for environment, energy, chemical management, trade, transportation and tax. He has previously worked for the Federal Minister of Natural Resources and the Legal Services department of Elections Canada.
